HI Development Puerto Rico Corp., Inc. is an international hotel management company which emphasizes in the total quality management of its hotel operations; both from the guest perspective and the owner's financial expectations. As the sole franchisor for Holiday Inn Hotels in Puerto Rico, our management team is recognized to be as goal oriented.

HI Development Puerto Rico Corporation currently own and operates three full service hotels. Our expertise include hotel management operations, fiscal and accountant service, development, insurance programs, hotel sales and marketing, advertising, feasibility studies, asset management and consulting.

HOTEL MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS OVERVIEW

HI Development Puerto Rico Corporation develops a full management overview of the properties it manages to ensure the complete success of the operation under the management contract. The Corporate and Management Team will be responsible of the following areas:
  • Business Plan: Includes the hotel strategic business plan, hotel operating budget, a capital improvement budget and a sales and marketing plan. All such budgets and plans are discussed with the hotel ownership prior to implementation consistent with current franchise and local market requirements
  • Operations: Our Corporate and Management Team monitors the financial statements and carefully monitors meaningful cost controls. Rates are structured, checked daily through our guest tracking report and changed as market conditions warrant. Rate maximization via yield management is an integral part of the operations strategy. Payroll is analyzed daily, energy costs controlled, preventive maintenance programs are established, and an extensive Policy and Procedures Manual is utilized by property management.
  • Personnel: Integral to a hotel's success is its manager. HI Development Puerto Rico Corporation has taken pride in being able to find and keep the most competent managers for a given hotel property. Sales and Marketing: HI Development Puerto Rico Corporation will coordinate and implement a strong and effective sales and marketing campaign for each individual property. Our Sales Team will coordinate and manage all the sales efforts for the property with special emphasis on revenue maximization.
